Get your flu vaccination at our weekend clinic

Dear Patient,

The practice is holding another weekend flu clinic on the morning of Saturday 12th December at Churchill Kingston.

The clinic will offer those patients eligible for the flu jab the opportunity to get immunised for this winter.  Patients who are eligible include those;

  • over 65
  • pregnant
  • with asthma or lung disease
  • with chronic heart disease
  • with diabetes
  • with a chronic kidney condition
  • with a chronic liver condition
  • who've had a stroke
  • who have an illness or are taking medicines that lower your natural defences
  • who're a carer
  • who're a frontline NHS worker

    Flu vaccine for children

    The flu vaccine is recommended for:

    • children over the age of six months with a long-term health condition
    • healthy children aged two, three and four

    Children aged between six months and two years of age who are eligible for the flu vaccine should have the flu jab.

    Children eligible for the flu vaccine aged between two and 18 will usually have the flu vaccine nasal spray.

    If you are not sure if you are eligible, call the surgery or check the NHS website.

    Patients can call the surgery to book an appointment or if you prefer, just turn up in the day.  The surgery will run from 08.30 am to 10.30 am.
