At Churchill Medical Centre we are fortunate to have a skilled nursing team, comprising of Four Practice Nurses, Nursing Associate, Health Care Assistant and a Phlebotomist who between them are able to provide:

  • Phlebotomy
  • Blood pressure and hypertension management (including 24hr blood pressure monitoring)
  • Asthma management 
  • COPD management
  • Hypertension clinics
  • Spirometry 
  • Diabetic management
  • 8 Week Baby checks
  • Baby and Child immunisation
  • Travel immunisations 
  • Coil Fitting/Removal
  • Implant Fitting/Removal
  • Complex wound management, including Doppler assessments 
  • Removal of sutures or clips 
  • Ear Syringing
  • Audiology tests
  • ECGs
  • Learning Disability Health Checks (alongside a GP)
  • NHS Health Checks
  • New patient checks
  • Smear tests
  • Zoladex Injections
  • National immunisation programmes, e.g. flu, pneumococcal, shingles, Meningitis ACW
